Tonight as the last show on web-radio WRUR The Sting, and what a show it was. The talk breaks were just incredible with stories of celebrations in New Jersey, car bombs in NYC, birthday parties, and a very tall man with a sword concealed as a walking stick.

The next stop is FM for the Gepetto Project - Stay tuned to the Facebook page or WRUR.org for information as it becomes available.

Thank you to all of you for listening and for your support!

Tonight's show was just dandy. We started with the usual technical difficulties (made worse by a hunger migraine), but got rolling right away. Of note, the original version of "Welcome to Paradise" by Green Day sans fancy production. The first hour was rounded out by a special birthday panegyric to Kou Murayama and discussion anent the insanity (the good kind) that is D-Day (Dandelion Day at U of R...or as Gepetto likes to call it "Mardi Gras in Rochester.")

Tonight's show was non pareil - the first "theme" episode with two themes. The first hour was a mélange, a myriad, a mosaic of punk covers from all different genres of music.

The juxtaposition of punk covers to songs into the second theme was made with a brilliant disquisition anent the origin of the FCC rules on "cussin'" with the original "bit" of the 7 Dirty Words by George Carlin. Genius? Indeed.
